Inspiration and Improvements

Taking inspiration from my preliminary task I will most likely use the same sort of shot types with the inclusion of some other more in depth camera angles to better my new project. I liked the variety of the shot types from ALN such as the medium close up of the "walking legs" angle and the graphic match between the gun barrel and the eye.
However I will also change a few details as the task is a short film in its entirety and not just a film opening. therefore I will be using quicker more fast paced shots as to develop a storyline in the 5 allotted minutes. This will require more plot detail per scene as well as a faster method of "fleshing out" characters.

This production will also need better lighting as our last film opening, although black and white, was poorly lit and with my new short film being in colour the light levels will need to be improved. Another improvement to the new production would be the cast. As our last production was simply an opening it did not require a large art however with this short film it might be better to hire more actors to give the plot legitimacy.
